MATS Closed Monday, June 19 for Juneteenth

Holiday Service Notice for Monday, June 19, 2023: In observance of Juneteenth, there will be no MATS fixed-route bus service. The MATS office will be closed. Go2 will run as run as usual. Sorry for the short notice. This was just approved by the Muskegon County Board. Have a safe and happy holiday!

Route 31 Stop Adjustments

Effective Thursday, June 8, 2023, the following stops on Route 31 will be relocated as follows:

Stop #31003 Outbound and Stop #31080 Inbound at Sanford and Strong move to Peck and Strong.

Stop#31004 Outbound and Stop #31079 Inbound at Sanford and Grand move to Peck and Grand.

Stop #31009 Outbound and Stop #31074 Inbound at Sanford and Sherman move to Peck and Sherman.

These changes will remain in effect until further notice.

Route 21 Stop Move

Effective Thursday, June 8, 2023, Stop #21001 Outbound and #21032 Inbound have moved from Muskegon and Pine to Spring and Clay. This change will remain in effect until further notice.

MATS and Harbor Transit Are Now Connected!

Harbor Transit will now take passengers, upon request, from the Mercy at the Lakes Clinic located at 6401 Prairie St. #1400, Norton Shores, MI. to locations in the City of Ferrysburg, City of Grand Haven, Grand Haven Township, Village of Spring Lake, and Spring Lake Township. A MATS rider wanting to take Harbor Transit will need to call Harbor Transit Dispatch to set up a meet at this location. Harbor Transit will then Dispatch a bus to go to the Mercy at the Lakes and pick up the passenger. Passengers can either travel to the Mercy at the Lakes stop via the MATS Fixed-Route Buses, or can use the Go2 by MATS app.

 
Harbor Transit service hours:
Monday – Friday 6am – 6pm (last pick-up 5:30pm)
Saturday 9am – 4pm (last pick-up 3:30pm)
Sunday 8am – 12:30pm (advanced registration required by the Tuesday prior)
 
How to schedule:
Call Harbor Transit at (616) 842–3200 to schedule your ride to the shared Harbor Transit and MATS stop. You can ride MATS fixed routes or use GO2 by MATS to get to the Mercy at the Lakes stop
