Draft of New DBE Goals for FY2025-2027 Available Here

The Muskegon Area Transit System, as a condition of its funding from the Federal Transit Administration, commits to maintain a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program.  The program seeks to ensure that small businesses, and specifically Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as may be certified by the Michigan Unified Certification Program, have access to participate in federally-supported vendor and contracting opportunities.

MATS has established a Draft DBE Participation goal of 1.6% for FY2025-2027.  To view the DBE Goal-setting methodology and data report, click here.  If you wish to provide feedback to MATS about the availability of vendors that can provide the goods and services that MATS needs, please submit your feedback by July 31, 2024, to publiccomment@matsbus.com
